The New York State Department of Transportation announced that the bridge will be closed beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 23 in Croton-on-Hudson, with construction work expected to last an estimated 80 days. The NYSDOT said the work is required to perform maintenance on the bridge.
Officials said that access to and from southbound Route 9 from this area will be impacted. Northbound access to and from Route 9 will remain unimpeded. Motorists can expect temporary delays in the area during the scope of the project.
